eighteen days.

Pretty much everything is done for the wedding--all of the big things are taken care of, and there are just a few things here and there that we need to pick up over the next two weeks. Yepp, pretty sure you read that right...only a little over TWO WEEKS until our perfect day finally arrives!

We're officially in the TEENS, and we have officially applied for our MARRIAGE LICENSE! We can pick it up tomorrow after 12:24 p.m., and you better believe that we'll be there waiting for that clock to tick to the right time!

isn't he just the cutest thing you've ever seen? I'm so lucky.

we may or may not be excited. it's kinda hard to tell--especially if you're judging it on the looks of my face. :-P

To make today even more perfect (who knew that could be possible?), we picked up our WEDDING BANDS from Gold Collections AND went to Target and used some of our gift cards to finish up decorations for our soon-to-be bedroom! Sidenote: Our future home is THE cutest in the whole world. I'll be sure to post lots of pictures once it officially becomes "ours"!

I don't know what I ever did to deserve a husband like TJ. Seriously. He loves me so much, WAY more than I deserve on most days, and yet he chooses to love me anyway. I'm crazy and a spaz and clumsy and hard to deal with sometimes and a chatterbox and really everything that he's not, but he never loves me any less on my bad days than he does on my good days. I guess I'll never figure out how I got him to ask me to be his girlfriend nearly eight years ago, but I'll always be thankful that I said yes...said yes to be his girlfriend, said yes to be his wife, and to continue saying yes until our lives on earth have ended. He's the best gift I've ever gotten, and I hope I never get tired of reminding him of just how special he is to me.

yogurt mountain.

After church on Sunday, Teesh and I went to Wilber's baseball scrimmage and then treated him to Yogurt Mountain afterwards. It was his first time, and he loved it. It also gave TJ and I an excuse to grub for a few minutes. Mmmmmm.

before the devouring began.

moment of truth...

anddddd he loved it. score!

I flippin' love my little brother. That's all. :)

wow.

I love it when God shows off.

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."
Psalm 19:1-4

twenty-three.

That's how many days until Teesh and I get married. Something that makes today even more spectacular than the average "twenty-three" is that today is also the twenty-third of June. Let me break it down for you: I am getting married twenty-three days from the twenty-third of June. I couldn't make something of such incredible proportions up if I tried.

In honor of such a glorious day, my dear friend, P. Sawyer, took me to dinner at Sacha's Cafe, one of the few Colombian restaurants in Greenville. It. Was. De-lish. And my company was even better. I can see us having dinner dates here from now on--at least I hope so! :o)

have you ever had guanabana? because, if you haven't, you should. SO stinkin' yummy!

holy cow, batman. look at all that food. I'm ashamed to admit that I couldn't eat all of it--I did put a pretty good dent in it, though! I stopped right before I passed out, though, so no worries.

After she "treated" me to Sacha's, she came back to the house for a while and we played Scrabble Flash for a couple hours. Yes, I said hours. Pretty much anything I do with P. Sawyer is always the best time ever. I don't think I could find a more thoughtful and compassionate friend if I searched all over the world.

You ARE a treat, P. Sawyer. Yesterday, today, and always.

ONE MONTH.

It's hard to believe that Teesh and I have been together for nearly eight years. It's even harder to believe that we've already been engaged for more than nine months. But what REALLY blows my mind is that one month from this very moment, I will be married to the greatest man the Lord has ever created. That's right, folks, MARRIED.

Mrs. Anna Bargeron.

Mrs. Anna Bargeron.

Mrs. Anna Bargeron.

Maybe if I keep repeating it to myself [and out loud], I'll actually believe that this is real life.

Someone seriously needs to pinch me. Like now.

I can't wait to be your wife, Teesh!
Just in case you weren't already convinced. :o)

memory lane.

One of my favorite things to do is look through old pictures. I love how I can simply glance at an old photograph and I'm right back where I was when it was taken. Those are the best memories. You know, the ones that take you back in an instant. Lucky for me, I stumbled across this picture of quite a handsome fella.

I remember when he gave me a copy of his football pictures when we had only  been dating for about a month. I was smitten for weeks. In my mind, that meant he really liked me. I saw myself running my best friend, Taylor's, locker to show her my new gift and her rolling her eyes at me like I was a nutcase. Then I ran to show my mommy as soon as I got home, and she just smiled at me. I think she knew way back then that I had found him. The only him I'd ever have. They say moms always know. :)

Thennnnn, that got me thinking about the first thing Angie ever thought about me. You'll have to ask her sometime. It's quite entertaining.

happy wedding day, Brittany!

One of the ladies I work for, Brittany, got married last night, making that the third wedding in four weeks that Teesh and I have been to. I guess you could say we've got wedding fever...EEEEK! And now it's official: the next wedding both of us attend will be our own. YAY! It's so hard to believe that we started this journey with 315 days to wait until we became Mr. and Mrs., and now we've only got 41 days to go. That's right, only FORTY-ONE days to go! I get giddy just thinking about it!

Brittany's wedding was an early evening wedding in downtown Greenville at Larkin's. Yepp, you guessed it: it was beautiful. Anything on the river is destined for greatness, in my opinion. :)

Here are a few snap shots of the night, in case you're curious about my crew from work.

Disclaimer: they are all a HOOT!

meet Keondre, my new boyfriend. I. Was. [and still very much am] OBSESSED!

Shemika, Debbie, and Shon. my three best friends from work!
funny fact: while we were situating ourselves for this picture, we all decided to make an oreo. #truestory

Shelby, Tiffany, Alysha, Toni, Shon, Shameika, and LaVerne. we're just one big melting pot at City Kids. HA!

all the ladies were jealous that I was the girl with this handsome fella. I keed you not.

my partner in crime! I love my Mika Mika!

and last, but certainly not least, the beautiful bride! isn't she stunning?

Fun was had by all last night. And you should have seen the look on all of my co-workers' faces when I came back to the table with an alcoholic drink. "Oooooo, Miss Anna, we din't know you dranked! Get it, Little Miss Good Girl!" In the words of my dear P. Sawyer, it was HIGH-larious. ;)

The gist of this story: I love weddings. And I have a preeeeetty good feeling that the next time Teesh is my date for a wedding, we'll be the talk of all the guests.

YAY!

happy birthday, Ma.

The sweetest and most stubborn lady I've ever known would have celebrated her 88th birthday today. I'd give anything to hug her neck just one more time.

And to have her look at me again this way in 43 days.

"But blue has never been bluer
True has never been truer

Honey never tasted so sweet
There’s a song in the breeze
A million voices in praise

A rose has never smelled redder
The sun has never been brighter

If I could find the right words to say
If you could look at my face
If you could just see this place
You wouldn’t cry for me today"

mark this day down in history.

My oldest baby brother graduated from high school today. Yay! We're so proud of him that our hearts could literally explode. Now we can all breathe a sigh of relief. WHEW! :o)

Way to go, Meeman! I love you more than words could ever come close to saying. These past 18 [ish] years have been a blessing, and I can't wait to watch you become a man. Yes, you read that right...we're all still hoping that it'll happen one day. ;)

We're all rootin' for you!
