I don't wanna be.

Last night was finally my turn to treat the birthday girl. We had to wait a whole week, but it was beyond worth it. What did we do, you ask? Oh, well, nothing too big. We just went to one of our most favorite artists in the entire universe's concerts. What are the odds that he would be in our town just days after her birthday? Especially since it's become quite the tradition for us to attend concerts in honor of P. Sawyer (not to mention the dozens of others that we attend just because).

Ladies and gentlemen, Gavin DeGraw.

And not only did we get to watch him perform (both of which were for the first time), but we also got to meet him. Yes, that's right, we can officially call him our newest best friend. EEEEK! It was a rather heaven-like experience, and I know I won't ever forget it for my whole life. How perfect is it that we got to see/meet Gav in celebration of P. Sawyer's twenty-third birthday, which is our favorite number in-part because of that very guy. Pretty God-orchestrated, if you ask me. It was unforgettable.

I took way too many pictures (as usual), but here are a few of my favorites. In addition to meeting Gav, we also met David Cook and the guys from Carolina Liar, who are touring with him. And p.s. Carolina Liar equals L-O-V-E, too. I can't wait to look at these pictures over and over again during the course of my life and still get giddy over how incredible it was.

Hey, P. Sawyer, thank you for being born and sharing so many of my interests with me and your willingness to take things as they come and making me laugh reeeeeeeally hard and being my soulmate and accepting your best friend just the way she is and living such a beautiful life that it makes me want my life to look just a little more like yours every time I get a glimpse of it. It is always a pleasure sharing these once-in-a-lifetime moments with you.
