Braxton got a zoo membership from Grandma for Christmas this year, and we didn't waste any time using it! The sun came out for a few hours on the twenty-sixth of December (can you believe it?), and we quickly decided that we wanted to spend that time surrounded by animals. This was Braxton's second trip to the zoo, and he was much more aware of everything around him than the first time; he pointed, smiled, belly-laughed, and remained wide-eyed as he strolled, making TJ + and laugh right along with him. I foresee lots of trips to the Greenville Zoo this next year, a place that my own mama used to walk me through, too, when I was just a babe.
It's just so fun having this little guy with us!
