Instead of joining most of Greenville for Boo in the Zoo this year, we decided to hold off until he actually eats candy and understands the concept of dressing up for Halloween. That didn't stop us from taking advantage of the decorations on a Tuesday morning, though! He loved all the Halloween signs, especially anything that resembled a truck, and he did what he does best the whole time we were there: led the way from one exhibit to another. Grandma joined us on this particular outing, and it was a real sweet time of bonding, just the three of us.
We sure have missed our weekly trips to the zoo this past month, but this visit was a good one to start back with. The more we go, the more he loves it. Especially when Grandma comes!
