Two Saturdays ago, FIKE Center + Golden Strip hosted their first annual Community Family Fun Day, and several of us volunteered to paint faces for the big event. The kiddos loved getting some color added to their cheeks + arms, and we had a blast putting those q-tips to good use. I used to love having my face painted when I was a little girl, and my dear friend, Carlyn, offered to take me back to my youth by painting a pretty pink flower on my left cheek. I sure do love this community I have the privilege of calling mine!
