We were originally supposed to be exploring a new-to-us place over fall break a few weeks ago, but it turns out that the familiar is what we really needed. We have lived in Greenville our whole lives, all four of us, but I can say this honestly: it never gets old.
Staycations were not our norm until we discovered the power of points and miles, but now they are a regular thing for us. Spending $300 for a room at a downtown hotel is not wise for us personally...but spending points for some fun? Yes please! Especially when I can earn hundreds of thousands of travel points a year through credit card sign up bonuses than I can earn money.

During our 3-night stay, we did all the things I would tell a visitor to do...
📍 Explore the @swamprabbittrail
📍 Go to the @greenvillezoo
📍 Walk along Main Street & experience the uniqueness of all the stores (our forever favorites being M. Judson Bookstore & Mast General Store)
📍 Eat at @swamprabbitcafe
📍 Stroll slowly through @fallsparkgvl and see it from above, too, via the Liberty Bridge
📍 Book another trip back while on the current trip
📍 Walk through several hotel lobbies along Main Street (Greenville has incredible choices for hotels!!)
📍 Ice cream, ice cream, ice cream & coffee, coffee, coffee
📍 Drive 15 minutes to adventure at one of SC’s most beautiful state parks: Paris Mountain State Park
No matter where we go, I’m just thankful to go together.
