and this year?
2020: rooted.
our word for the new year reveals our desire to be rooted in our identities as sons and daughters of our good, good Father; in wisdom and love; in strong relationships; in enduring faith; in the belief that we are able to face and overcome hard things; in good decisions (personal, financial, etc.) that help us both now and in the future; in our commitment to each other.
here is our why:
“In the same way you received Jesus our Lord and Messiah by faith, continue your journey of faith, progressing further into your union with him! Your spiritual roots go deeply into his life as you are continually infused with strength, encouraged in every way. For you are established in the faith you have absorbed and enriched by your devotion to him!” -Colossians 2:6-7
