My best friend graduated from the University of South Carolina today, and I had never been so excited to get to my rival campus. She's going to be the most amazing teacher, and I can't wait to hear all the incredible stories she will have to tell about her soon-to-be precious kiddos. I'm sure we'll thoroughly enjoy swapping stories about our beautifully chaotic days with our munchkins, just as we've been known to do in the past.
It has been the biggest blessing to have this girl by my side for the past five years, and I'm beyond anxious to see where the next fifty take us. Whether near or far, I am confident when I make this next prediction: we'll be best friends for the rest of our lives. I can't describe the joy I have in knowing that I've got a friend like this gal, and I am ecstatic to be in her cheering section as she begins this next chapter in her life.
Happy graduation day, Miss Martin!
May you be blessed more than you've ever been blessed before, and may you believe that you will change countless lives through the grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ. You were one of his most amazing creations, and I am so thankful we met in this very city when we were barely high school graduates. I love you, girls state best friend. A LOT!
